Safe takeoffs and landings are crucial for the lifespan of your drone. Whether you’re flying from a dusty dirt path, a damp grassy field, or a pebble beach, the 50×50 cm DJI Landing Platform always provides a clean and level surface.
When a drone takes off from loose ground, the propellers blow powerful air currents downward. This can force sand and fine dust into the motor bearings or the mechanical parts of the Gimbal. In addition, this platform helps your DJI drone’s downward-facing vision sensors accurately record the takeoff position (RTH—Return to Home).
The platform is designed in two distinctive, contrasting colors (orange and blue) so that it is highly visible from the air. The high-quality, waterproof nylon material is easy to wipe clean and can withstand changing weather conditions.
