Dual-primary-camera system
Air 3 features the Air series’ first dual-primary camera system, with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1.3-inch CMOS wide-angle camera. A CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 3x medium-telephoto camera in a slim and
compact housing. The two cameras have the same sensor size but different focal lengths.
The Air 3’s two 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensors support dual native ISO for direct output of 4K/60fps HDR video without cropping. This means that footage from both cameras can feature rich colors and natural transitions in lighting, resulting in breathtaking and highly accurate footage.
Both cameras also support 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG color modes. The 10-bit D-Log M mode helps preserve more highlight and shadow detail for greater flexibility during editing. The 10-bit HLG mode can reproduce a wider dynamic range, resulting in excellent image quality without the need for color correction.
