The DJI Ronin 3D Focus system enables a central AF point for manual-focus lenses. It works in conjunction with the DJI Focus motor. The system detects the distance between the lens and the subject, and the motor adjusts the lens accordingly. This allows for continuous focusing. The maximum detection range depends on the reflectivity of the subject. When filming a person, the maximum range is approximately six meters.
