Dronavia Kronos Parachute System and FTS Combo for DJI Matrice 30
The Dronavia Kronos Parachute System and FTS Combo offers maximum safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance for professional drone operations in Europe. This system is designed for operators who want to minimize their aviation risks. In addition, this solution allows you to comply with the latest EASA requirements, including STS scenarios and C5 classifications.
- The Kronos system combines two critical safety technologies. It includes a Parachute Recovery System (PRS) that significantly reduces the impact force in the event of a malfunction. In addition, it also features a Flight Termination System (FTS) that intervenes immediately if the drone threatens to deviate from its predefined flight profile. This significantly reduces the risk of damage or injury. As a result, flights in urban areas, over infrastructure, or near people can be conducted more safely.
- The autonomous sensor network within the parachute system detects anomalies such as sudden loss of altitude, collisions, or technical malfunctions. The parachute then deploys automatically within milliseconds. This limits free fall and ensures that the Matrice 30 lands in a controlled manner. The FTS can safely shut down the motors to prevent further damage and ensure that the drone remains within the control area.
- A key advantage of the Kronos solution is its simple plug-and-play installation. Thanks to its lightweight and modular design, the system is up and running in just a few minutes and simplifies maintenance. This makes the combination ideal for applications in inspection, mapping, emergency services, infrastructure monitoring, and industrial operations.
The system opens up new commercial opportunities for drone companies and government organizations. It does so by complying with EASA standards (MOC 2511 and 2512) and enabling the use of the Matrice 30 within C5-classified STS-01 scenarios. For those who want to fly professionally with maximum safety, the Dronavia Kronos PRS + FTS Combo for the DJI Matrice 30 is the ultimate choice.
