Study aviation by the sea! When it comes to studying aviation, many Belgian students assume they have to go abroad. Nothing could be further from the truth: for over thirty years, there has been a college in Flanders that has established itself as a center of excellence for aviation education: VIVES.
Every year, more than 150 students study by the sea to gain knowledge about flying—all in an EASA-regulated environment. At our training center, we have simulators, helicopters, motors, wind tunnels… and, of course, our own aircraft. You name it, we’ve got it… for you, the future aviation professional!
At VIVES, you can earn a bachelor’s degree in aviation by choosing one of two different specializations: aspiring airline pilot and aviation technology. Within the aviation technology track, you can specialize in manned aviation technology or in Unmanned Aircraft Systems—unmanned systems that you’re probably more familiar with as drones.
